Front bottom cushion heated seat not working.
I've had a look under the base but not sure which wires are for the heated seat element, I see two wires with connectors in the center area of the base but I think thats for the sensor to detect someone sitting on the seat.
Anyone had a similar problem to this? Guess its the element in the seat, had a look at the WIS to disassemble the seat cushion looks too involved for me.
Incidentally, my aftermarket warranty at the time did not cover "seats," and even though the problem was clearly electrical, they wouldn't budge. I didn't want to pay several $$$ out of pocket, so I just lived with it. This is one example of how aftermarket warranties are not comparable to a Mercedes Extended Warranty, no matter how "comprehensive" their coverage claims to be.
Sorry to hear... good luck!

Good luck!
I can imagine like I will learn to live without this unfortunately

I would imagine you could find a wrecked W222 and pull the seat bottom from that car.

Mercedes S550, S600, S63 AMG, S560, S65 AMG, S450, S550eMany thanks for this information, I couldnt find the heated pad for sale anywhere when I googled, maybe because I'm based in Ireland. I'd gladly pay to have it shipped.
I would chance having a go at this repair myself as I've done some fiddley jobs already with success (Door Handle LED bulb change etc).
I also couldnt find a video of the W222 seat bottom removal and insertion of the heating element, if you located this I'd be most grateful if you could share it please?
Thanks Again
