Does anyone have any experience/feedback with installing chrome door handle inserts? My wife has them on her GLS, which is the same color as my new S450, and I don't find them to be bad looking, on the black car I think thought that they would be too much, but it did end up with finder/ring scratches inside the door handles.

Has anyone installed them, anything good/bad to say about the install and longevity? I would go OEM, pics below:

Nice option. Get them painted or powder coated? Amazing how chewed up that inner door handle gets. Looking forward to comments.

I got mine from eBay and they looked nice to start with. It's been almost a year now and they are pitted in the chrome. Don't recommend aftermarket ones.

Too much chrome for my taste. They tend to look like an afterthought.

I actually went the other way and have my door handles vinyl wrapped in body color (Selenite Grey). I did that on a lot of the chrome trim as I prefer the subdued look.

Interesting, I did see a GLS in Selenite Grey with the night package (blacked out) recently and it looked good.
