Question Brake dust repellant?

Now that Armor All no longer makes and sells their fantastic and super effective Outlast Brake Dust Repellent, what are people using to combat the high brake dust that comes from the OEM brake pads?

Has anyone tried the Brakedust Wheel Protective Shield from Nanoskin? It claims to "repel brake dust and road grime with amazing heat resistance & anti-static barrier that lasts months, not weeks." The online reviews look so-so, but it seems that the majority of the folks putting up those reviews either don't know how to apply it or thinks it's a wheel cleaner.

I switched to Powerstop Z23 pads, and brake dust is no longer a problem.

I'm not looking to turn this into a brake pads thread. Just looking for an effective brake dust repellant, hopefully like the Armor All was.

Dave, I was unaware that Outlast was no longer manufactured. I still have a half full can. I'd best use it sparingly until you post again with a replacement product. Thanks!

Yes, I've confirmed this with Armor All. Pretty short-sided IMO since it was a highly regarded and effective product. You can probably still find some out there at insane pricing if you look hard enough.

I did buy a bottle of the Nanoskin and will report the results after I've had a chance to put some miles on the car with it.

I understand. I also looked for the Armor All, but when I saw what they wanted for it on Ebay, the brake pads were cheaper...

Did you do them yourself, or have them coated professionally? If yourself, can you tell me what you did? Feel free to PM me too.
Thanks

I did my entire car including wheels with Adam's Ceramic Coating. Still performing well after 6 months. Not sure how this would do against a ton of brake dust as I have the Powerstop pads all around as well.

I assume you mean it was the Adam's Graphene Ceramic Coating, right?

I use Alu-Teufel from TUGA CHEMIE. It Works like a charm. Spray, wait for two minutes and rinse with water.

That appears to be a wheel cleaner. I'm looking for something that you put on the clean wheels which repels brake dust and grime. The discontinued Armor All Outlast did a fantastic job at keeping the wheels clean for around a month. I've put the Nanoskin mentioned above on my wheels and will report back in a few weeks about how it's doing.

BTW, I did have my wheels professionally ceramic coated when I had my car done 3 years ago and that does not now nor has ever prevented brake dust build-up. It makes them easier to clean though.
