I’m in the same situation where my dealer cannot currently tell me when my car will be shipped. They follow it daily on Netstar, and they were able to tell me the spoiler and locking lug nuts were being installed…but they are unable to tell me when the car will be released for shipment. Very frustrating!

Not sure if you are a repeat customer or have a good relationship with your dealer, I have both. Last Saturday I spoke with my dealerships manager and asked if he could expedite my car getting here. He sent an email to their Mercedes Rep, he said he would look into it, Tuesday it was released to a carrier?

This is my 5 Mercedes from this dealership and I have a good relationship with my salesman who has been involved in all of my purchases. He told me Tuesday that they asked the rep to expedite my car. As of today it has not been released. Maybe some reps work faster and harder than others.

I have been very patient, given that my car was ordered last September and arrived at the VPC in early March. I don’t harass my salesman, he calls me every 2 weeks or so. The conversations are very pleasant. I have been very patient.

Personally, I would not accept an S Class without the massaging seats. We take our big sedan on road trips and this old body REALLY appreciates the massage feature. I have a 2022 on order and my instructions to the dealer were that I want it built exactly as ordered and that I was willing to wait, to insure every option was included. I ordered EABC, amongst other goodies and I’m not willing to accept the car if it is missing pretty much anything. Right now, I give myself a 50/50 chance of taking delivery.

Emailed my salesperson and asked if the truck arrived yet. He said it arrived yesterday afternoon, he sent a couple of photos to my home phone (landline, no pictures going there)! Anyway, it's at the dealer, I'll be there around 10:30am to unload some dough ray me! It's only a 10 mile trip home, I'll let you know what I see! The excitement like the Champaign fizzled a little waiting six months!

I assume you double checked the number. You can go to many states DMV websites to estimate registration fees. If you do that, you will at least verify if you have a valid VIN#.
