Beautiful car and interior. Is that the macchiato beige/magma grey interior or the grey Napa? It looks lighter than some of the grey interiors pictured in the black S580 cars. The AMG styling really enhances the sporty look of the car. Congratulations on your new S Class!

Thank you. The interior is silver grey / black exclusive nappa leather. I was searching for an amg line with 20’” wheels, a light color exterior and black interior. I came across this one and it had the massaging seats and the active ambient lighting so I jumped on it.

IMO if your car is garaged, i don't see an advantage over a traditional wax.

Your car is beautiful! Enjoy it in good health!

Quick question: do you feel that the 2 screens look like they are a design afterthought? I looked in the window of one parked outside my building and the first thing that came to mind was that both the screens were not integrated very well. The previous S -Class screen (s) are much more integrated into the dash-design of the interior.

Please give me your opinion, as you are actually sitting in the vehicle-driving it and not just looking in the window.

Thank you!

Thank you very much. I really don’t think the screens are an afterthought . I love the way the car looks and drives. When your behind the wheel it all seems to gel together. This is only my second day with the car and every time I get in it I am just blown away. I truly love the design. I was skeptical before I saw one in person because of all the hate for the new design online. I test drove a 7 series and an a8 and then the S580. As soon as I sat in the S580 I knew it was the car for me. To me, there is nothing else out there that compares. I also used my fathers 2019 s560 as I was considering purchasing a certified pre owned. Take one for a test drive and see for yourself.

On a side note, The massaging seats are incredible. The massage goes down your back onto your seat bottom, all the way to the back of your thighs.

I was a BMW driver for the past 11 years and was looking for a change.

They are amazing! The only gripe I have is practically all massage types use seat HEATING and I can’t find a way to turn off!
Also, have you tried the ENERGIZING COMFORT massage features (I think it’s an additional option),,,sweet!

Scroll down on the Message menu there are more selections without heat. Try the one called waves its goes down the seat. I have yet to try the energizing comfort massage seat but I will.

In the massage menu you can scroll down for more massage settings. The settings with heat seem to be at the top. Try the setting called waves, its awesome. I have yet to try the energizing comfort massage but will on my way home today.

I’m not sure about that. Just because the first two options state “Hot” doesn’t mean the rest don’t have heat. I’ve noticed that the first two just have MORE heat than the others.

Even with Seat Ventilation ON there is heat!! WTH?!

The only additional setting is for “Intensive” on/off (unless Intensive turns off heat which doesn’t seem so). See pic

I just want to make sure you see all these other massage settings. Please excuse my smudged screen. Once I saw this photo I had to go out to the car and get rid of the finger prints / smudge marks. I feel much better now!

Hi, yes I do, but in your previous post you stated “The settings with heat seem to be at the top” which I can’t find. Unless your referring to the first two massage types which specifically state “Hot,” but as I previously mentioned “Just because the first two options state “Hot” doesn’t mean the rest don’t have heat. I’ve noticed that the first two just have MORE heat than the others.”

Are there other heat SETTINGS you’ve found?

I was referring to the massage types not settings, sorry for the confusion. I haven't noticed heat coming from the other massage types but I have only had the car for a few days. I have not found any other heat settings.

So back to square one (for me) regarding not being able to turn off heat

Beautiful car. Enjoy the last Int.Comb.Eng. S class Benz you'll probably be able to have new!

I certainly hope the W223 will be like the W222 in terms of very few (if any) squeaks, rattles, and recalls. The W222 was top notch in those categories.

So far no rattles or squeaks. The car seems to be top notch just like the W222. It just has such a solid feel to it. I was using my fathers 2019 s560 for a month while I was looking for a car. I wasn’t even thinking s class until I borrowed his. I truly love this car.

I would ceramic coat your new car in a heartbeat. I ceramic coated my W201 and now I won't use anything else. Ceramic coating is so much better than wax. The difference is stoning and it will last longer too. It's well worth the higher price. Congrats on your new ride and I wish you many happy miles with it. I saw a new W223 on the road the other day and it had a very nice and commanding road presence as an S class is supposed to have.

Thank you very much. I am dropping the car off at the dealership on Wednesday for ceramic coating. They are applying the ceramic coating to the paint, rims, windows and interior. I’ll post pictures when it is done.

Is Nano-ceramic better or is it the same thing (marketing)?
