For those who have it, is the 3D option worth it? with There's been posted notes of aggravation having to do with seat adjustment? I can understand the neatness of having the projected turn signal but specifically, does the dash notice to adjust your seat/ wheel out play the projection feature?

The seat and steering wheel do not need to be in the middle position, just adjusted so that you can see the whole instrument cluster display. Why would one want to have the two adjusted otherwise anyway?
The 3D instrument cluster view is probably not that important for most W223 drivers but the related augmented reality HUD makes a big difference.

I have the option and I really like it. I like the novelty of the 3D image cluster, and I use the HUD constantly. There’s little features they don’t tell you about that are really cool too…the gestures. Open sunroof and turn on lights with your hand, etc. those are pretty cool too. The coolest is the two head gestures. One automatically lowers the rear sunscreen of you turn your head backwards while in reverse, and the other automatically assigns the side mirror adjustment by whichever mirror you’re looking at. My sales guy never even showed me those, and I didn’t learn about it until after from one of the techs.

I have full gesture control without the 3D option. Separately, my seating position, steering column, and mirrors are not regulated. Again, I do miss the HUD. The digital MPH read out in the driver’s instrument cluster appears at the very top of the cluster….unlike the older MBs…which had the digital MPH in the dead center. That was in fact a better location for me. Now, I mostly defer to the analogue read out…;which requires a bit more eye movement, not to mention brain power. 🧐

I have the 3D and find it useless and annoying. I don’t use the HUD. IF I get another MB, I will not order the 3D Technology Pkg.

Love it. I have no issues with the car complaining about my seat position.

Yeah, I'm one of those sociopaths that likes a good menu dive, have a modified phone, laptop, desktop, etc. I can see how those that find this kind of thing annoying will be put off in this car; the polarization is built in.

Same here.. There UI is one of the things that really sold me on the car, I love the tech, the nav, the 3d icons that I got to experience in Vegas when I was there locked it for me. The only thing I wish we got here that I could have optioned was the 4 person seating, this would have been the ultimate for me

Agree 101 percent: I'd check that 4 seat box were it there, but NOOO...

More of a gimmick, but I like it and always have it on with no issues whatsoever.
Regarding 4 seats, I have the four seat/rear "first class' option with all the bells and whistles such as folding tables/phone charger cradle (similar to Maybach)/etc. and it's so much more luxurious!

I love the 3D option and I didn’t think I’d use the HUD but after having it I would not buy another car without it. The seat positioning reminder can be annoying but I’ve learned to live with it. The benefits far outweigh the negatives.

I'm already on record as a fan but another aspect is mission, as in the car's mission. To me these things are supposed to be luxurious, comfortable, and loaded with the latest tech. I don't get to say what this car is, or should be, but that's how I see it/them.
To me not buying the tech is kinda like buying a sports car without the go fast stuff; you know... Upgraded brakes, uhuh, more powerful engine, nope, sport suspension, skipping it. Not getting that stuff is in opposition to what the car is, does, you typically want that stuff with a sports car. No one says, "Hey Porsche, I'd like a GT3 but can I get the 4 from the Macan thrown in there?"
A little bit labored there but to me the tech in this car is like that; I almost feel it should take a little study. It would hardly be next gen/class leading if you'd seen it before and meh was all you could muster when thinking about it.
But then I'm one of those maniacs who like futzing with tech so I suppose I'm probably bringing that bias into it.
