Anyone interested in brand new Bridgestone TURANZA tires 255/45/r19
Hello Friends,
Just received my new 19 inch wheels with brand new RunFlats from the dealership. First plan of action - Replace with NON RUN FLATS
These tires have 40 miles on them. Any one would like to make an offer - I am ready willing and able.
Prefer in the DFW area. But we can discuss shipping.
The tires are LS100 MOE See pics.
ALSO - what are the best tires in your opinion for QUIETNESS and SMOOTHNESS ?
No need to turn into a corner at 70 MPH... ;-)

@zukiper I posted a thread on this subject for my S560 that received a great deal of feedback and information from several users just a couple weeks ago. I am so happy with the final selection I made. I think we truly down-selected all the options down to the best two options in the industry for the 19” wheels. See below.

Instead of going through that thread (yeah, I know I am lazy here) , would you be kind enough to list the best two options here please?

Just got the chance to drive with the CONTINENTAL EXTREMECONTACT DWS 06 PLUS (non-RF) under dry and warmer conditions in the past 3 days. Am happy with them, the rubber is so soft on potholes and abosrbs imperfections on the road really really well. They are also so quite. For whatever reason, my winter tires set “VREDESTEIN WINTRAC PRO” felt more comfortable below 30-35 degrees. The All-season Continental are however more comfortable above 40 degrees.
My tire pressure settings as a function of temperature are as follows:
35 degrees: 32 PSI
55 degrees: 34 PSI
65 degrees: 35-36 PSI
80 defrees: 37 PSI
I haven’t tried any lower or higher, but this tire inflation range keeps me always above 32 PSI in cold conditions and always below 39 PSI when it’s warm, and am happy with how soft the tires feel. Air pressure changes with temperature.
Side note: Based on all the above, if anyone wants winter tires, I highly recommend the VREDESTEIN WINTRAC PRO. They truly feel as good as my current All-Season CONTINENTAL EXTREMECONTACT DWS 06 PLUS

2020 S560 Sedan, 2019 SL450, 2019 E450 Luxury Trim Wagon, '24 BMW I7 on order...
I took the Hankook run flats off my 2022 S580. I first tried my long time favorite Bridgestone QuietTrack tires, but on this car, they were noisy. By the way, I was able to return them for a full refund, using Bridgestone’s money back guarantee. You should see if your dealer can somehow honor that. I finally went with Continental Procontact RX T2 255/45/19. VERY quiet and a much improved ride. Good luck to you!

I am putting on the Conti DWS06+ day after tomorrow
Hopefully it improves the ride noise and quality.
ALTHOUGH - I MUST SAY - - That after week on these Turanza LS100 Rflats, the ride is slowly improving. It is quieter and more comfortable than last week, when they were new.
I AM ALMOST hesitant to try the Continentals - thinking HOW MUCH BETTER can the ride get ?
But I figure - If the DWS06+ do ride the same as the Turanzas, next year I will have those old Turanza tires ready.
MORE NEWS to come in a few days....

OK - The CONTIs DWS 06 Plus are on
The difference in quality, noise, traction is DAY and NIGHT - for the better !!
At first the Bridgstones were "breaking in" and I thought there is no need to change these orignial RUN FLAT tires.
But since I already ordered the Continentals, I went ahead and replaced.
Was totally blown away at how much BETTER the vehicle rides.
At times you wonder if the car is moving on a ROAD or a layer of AIR
Could not be happier with these tires
Thanks to all the folks in this forum that recommended the DWS06+ tires !!!
