I have been having issues loading the satellite map for my navigation on the S580. It was working fine for almost 2 years now and I have the zero layers mbux software. I keep clicking the satellite option but still shows the basic map... I have the mercedes me subscription but not sure if thats required for it. Any ideas?

At what zoom level do you have the map? The satellite view doesn't display below the 2 mile zoom level.

I was able to scroll all the way down close to the houses including mines.

Oh, I guess the latest MBUX goes below 2 miles. The satellite view does come via the online connection from the Mercedes me services and some people are reporting that there's an outage at the moment. I haven't been in my car since Monday, so I don't know if anything is down. Are the online services working otherwise? Are you getting live traffic?

Yeah online services including live traffic are working perfect so I am stumped.

Then I'm stumped, too. Have you tried a reboot? Hold the MBUX power button until it restarts.

Did you check your Mercedes Me services to see if it is still activated (Satellite Image for Navigation)? Did it expire?

So I found out I have all the subscription till this December but not satellite map, online radio etc. I thought I selected all the options. I will add it in December as all of the features will require re-subscribing in December so I rather not pay for some features now for 1 year and then again in December for the other features.
