I looked this up and found an installer in S. Korea who does these upgrades - switching the rear trims from wood to piano black w/ silver lines + LED ambient lighting
I sent them a picture of my seats, that have no trim w/ the whole seat back cover being 1-piece (unlike some others with no trim but is a 2-piece construction).
I was told that it cannot be retrofitted to my seats
Had I known the differences earlier, I would've passed on my current car and would've waited for another new '25 or '26 with extended napa leather pkg - just to have the rear seat trims.
In short, if you have the rear seat backs with 2 different pieces that looks like this: https://chauffeurandbeyond.com/image...2NqnmUfagK.jpg
then you can switch the top plastics to the trims you showed in the original post.
What's the name of the company who does the upgrades? Wondering if they can do it on a W222 with the trim package but no lines.
Sorry, I forgot their name
I found the pictures and it linked me to their blog and when I left them a message, I was contacted via a messaging app.
They were kind to provide me all the information and was willing to answer any questions if I found a seat back piece that had 2 panels - I'm not even sure they're compatible with the lower trim, single-piece seat.
I'll see if I can find it again and let you know.

I would be happy without the LED lighting underneath - as long as I could just get the wood, etc.
The whole piece can't be replaced with one that has the wood trim?
That's exactly what I asked them but unfortunately, they have no way to source the whole seatback piece (as most of their parts come from China) and they're not sure if it's interchangeable.
I get the feeling the seats are 2 different types :
a) the ones with chrome headrest legs - base seat type, single piece seatback
vs.
b) ones with folding headrest mechanism aka chauffer mode (plastic base) - 2-piece seatback
Not sure what option or package it's tied into. Executive? 4D?

Thanks for sharing.
Pretty interesting!. They also have some items for the 7-series that aren't even available from factory and it seems intriguing to me. Looks like a very good company.
Yeah I chose this specific car because of the napa interior. My S560 didn't have that and it was the only thing I wished the car had that it didn't have!

No problem, sir!
I was fiercely searching for that front seatback trim piece online and came across this company.
The owner was willing to answer any questions, share any information related to installation and modifications of parts even when I source the parts myself.
It sounded like they're getting most of their parts directly from China and perform custom installations in their shop.
I bet you could find those parts from Aliexpress, etc.
