1/4 mile results...
I took my '03 S55 to the drag strip last friday. I left the alone, no dyno mode, and just put a few bags of ice on the blower. The engine temp was right at about 80, but the blower was cold, I used a lot of ice! I power braked it slightly and eased into the throttle quickly, if that makes sense. I didn't just mash the pedal to the floor. Stock tires. It was hot and humid, 88deg. 98%hum. and 3169' corrected altitude, not the best air for blower cars.
60' :1.948
330' :5.429
1/8: 8.233 @ 89.95mph
1000' : 10.666
1/4= 12.700 @ 110.85
I did try dyno mode for the last pass, I got a little too agressive for the stock rubber and spun...bad, 2.59 60'.
My other pass was a 12.74@109.57.
Not bad for a 4800# car with me in it. I didn't think it would go that good. All the HP calculators that I found online are saying for a 4800# car to go 110 takes about 500hp at the wheels and 600 flywheel. I thought these things are supposed to make about 400 at the wheels? Next stop dyno.

It is about time.
I was wondering when someone was going to track their s55. Those are some really go times. Almost e55 porformance. Are you stock? Interesting to see the dyno.

yeah it's all stock. I was looking at the Renntech stuff, but I couldn't justify spending $10,000 to give my 4800# car 50 or 60hp. But that was before it went 12.7....so I'm gettin the itch.
