This would be a serious S63
Hey guys I am considering doing a few things finally to my S550 like AMG Kit, 22's, renntech lowering module so I have been crusing different forums for ideas. I came across this one this morning, I think it's a photoshop but man I could imagine what it would be like with those wheels and that lowering.

Not that I go against modifying one's automobile, but I would have to say go now larger than a 20" wheel. The 22's give such a horrible ride and you literally have no forgiveness if you hit a pothole. Either way, sounds like a sweet S550 if you do the proposed mods.

In my experience the 22" wheels do not degrade the ride very much at all.
The suspension in these cars is very advanced. Now I would say you will notice more ride degredation if you lower and add the wheels, but still not terribly harsh.
Of course a topic like ride quality is highly subjective, so its tough to set a 'bar'.

That looks like a short wheelbase car. I'm not even sure there is a short wheelbase W221; I'm sure it isn't imported to the US. Look how short the bottom of the back door is and how the tiny visible part of the rear seat back is close to the front seat back. I don't know if a LWB car would look so muscular.

DO NOT LOWER YOUR CAR and put 22's on. It completely ruined my 07 S65. I have 22 inch agetros and used the Renntech lowering module. It screws up all the sensors, it rides like SH*T and completely screwed my car up in so many ways, I can't describe..... It did look look sick though.. LOL
