600 or 65
Hi Guys, I have a wonderful S600. However there are a couple of S65 for sale
which I could afford with the 600 part ex.
What I want to know is I realize the 65 is faster but I can get the 600 tuned.
Is the 65 long wheel base and what else does it offer.

I really just want to know is the 65 long wheel base, are the seats the same
is the ride as comfortable.
Don't want to plow through to many especially the guesses. Really need someone who has changed from 600 to 65,

w/o having owned a 600 I can tell you that the seats are NOT the same and that the ride on the 65 is comfortable. In the USA we only got long wheelbase s-class so not sure how that works out in Europe.

You are comparing a standard MB model(S600) to an AMG model(S65). All AMG models are different in four ways: Engine, Suspension, Brakes and cosmetics (body kit, wheels, AMG badges, etc.)
With the S65, you will get more power, better brakes, firmer suspension, better handling.
As to tuning, I would say the S600 is more tunable with more products available. It appears that 500-600 BHP is not enough......

a few AMGs
Besides the brakes, suspension, amg kit. The seats are different, better looking plus has dynamic option. speedometer is different, has paddle shifters, and sound is AMAZING. ive had all 3, 55, 600, 65. the 65 is the "KING" in my opinion.

Thanks to others for info, I get the picture, not really interested in any of the 65 extras except brakes, mine have been re-newed but are still poor
at high speed. There fore a tuned 600 needs bigger brakes which will need
bigger wheels and so on. I guess that's enough to get me interested so next step is drive one, with my Dad in the back.
