Thoughts on S600 dyno baseline?

Thoughts on S600 dyno baseline?

Just curious to see if any of you had thoughts on my baseline (which I've attached). I just got the car a couple weeks ago. Clean car. AFAIK, it's all stock. 531 at the wheels seems a bit high for a stock 600, no? I'm just skeptical I suppose. It's a 2004 600 with 87k miles on the clock.

Youtube video of the 531 pull:

Cheers,
Ricky

I do apologize posting this in the AMG section, but this seemed a more appropriate place than the regular 220 section. Please move if you feel necessary

531 at the flywheel is theoretically a bit high for stock (though probably typical)

at the wheels though - I think that's more than stock S65 power - its got to be tuned

Other folks will be along to question the R/road, but I would want to read the MAP from an OBD reader when driving.

I was thinking it was tuned. I'm glad to hear other people agree. I can't really say if it feels stock or not. I am leaning towards tuned for a couple of reasons. Immediately off the line, it feels pretty peppy. Once the turbos have a chance to spool up; it really takes off like a rocket. Quite pronounced turbo lag compared to the S65. I have a feeling MB would tune it in such a way to make the spool up less pronounced than it is. In addition, the original owner had a PCA sticker on the windshield. I'm not complaining though, the fact that it did dyno so nicely merely saves me having to screw around tuning it. Nice to be happy with it as is.

Must've been tuned.
Stock should be around 480whp.
I had '04 S600,with Renntech tune it went to 535whp.

Here's another dyno graph comparing mine to an 06 S65 (with RENNtech parts). We calculated my torque to be about 600 ft lbs at the wheels, and the S65 to have 740 at the wheels. Unfortunately, the runs were done on two separate days. The S65 seems to run quite lean if you look at the AF on the bottom. It heat soaked after two pulls. Thankfully, my 600 does not have that problem.

Sorry the PDF is sideways. I'm not sure how to orient it so it's readable. If you download/view it, Shift+CTRL+minus will rotate it.

Your car is tuned. Look how much leaner you're running than the 65. Oddly enough, you say the S65 is running RENNtech parts, does that include a RENNtech tune? Or just air box, H/E pump, etc..., because it looks to me, that the S65 is running a stock file, based on AFR.

2006 S600
The S600 is running richer - the AFR is numerically lower, less air for each part of fuel.

Wait, which line is which? Oh....nevermind, they're labeled. Ooops...

For reference, my tuned SL600, runs about 11.7AFR in 3rd at WOT, last checked.

The S65 has the airbox, transmission, ECU/TCU, intercooler+pump... I think that's it. I remember the invoice was up in the $20k range or so. It's had a few issues, so the owner is sending it off to MB Westminster for a look over. Personally, I think the 65 is verging on too lean.
