S65 rough when accelerating
only had it 2 weeks and already a problem
Check engine light came on and when I accelerate it feels very rough. if I just maintain my speed seems ok.
Also saw a spot of oil by the rear drivers side tire.
I am bringing it in on Tuesday to the dealer but wanted to have an idea.
Coil pack and strut?
2006 with 71k miles.

I have not started it since, I turned around and drove it right home as soon as I saw the problem. I will start it again and see what it does.
I am going to pick up a code reader this afternoon. Will see what it says.

started it up and it was still rough.
Read the code and it is P0309. Cylinder 9 misfire. It was listed twice, Confirmed and pending. I cleared both codes and it started up and was smooth. I took it out for a 20 minute run and no issues.
The odd part is when the light came on I wasn't pushing it. I was idling along at maybe 10 mph as I pulled out of my driveway.

I see some old posts where people mention the ignition transformer as a possibility for single cylinder misfires. I am thinking I might replace that first. If that isn't it Coil packs but it hasn't done it since so not sure. I did notice this morning a rough idle, I didn't mention it to the dealer when I dropped it off. While I will have to have them fix the ABC leak I noticed I am planning on doing the Ignition transformer/coil packs myself.
Also where is the best place to order these coil packs/ignition transformer? A quick search for the part I found(000-150-02-58-M22) showed only one place selling it. The coil packs seem to have a few manufacturers. Any reason to buy one over the other?
Sorry for all the question's a search showed some sites but perhaps I am missing something on the part numbers.

An update.
Both coils were replaced as well as the MAP sensor(found cracked rubber when replacing the coils).
The strut was also replaced as that was the source of the ABC leak.

I didn't do them myself. I found that I was covered by a 30 day warranty. Took some arguing with the dealer I bought it from(not a MB dealer) but they fixed it.
It did fix the issue.
