I have seen a bunch of different tuners through a search of this forum and the web. Some claiming ECU & TCU require dismantling and selling and other capable of tuning via OBD port.


I have also seen a bunch of nightmare stories!


anyone had good results and with which tuners? Also via OBD / mailorder tunes or sending their units to the tuner?


Any advise or feedback welcome

 

If you have a V12TT, you want Speedriven. Without a doubt they have the most experience tuning the m275 engine and offer the most aftermarket support.

 

I had mine tuned physically here in Abu Dhabi by OE tuning. They have a workshop here too.

I wasn't trying to be snarky, man- I honestly didn't know if you were asking about that or asking one of the other guys something.

The block has been sleeved, line-bored, and reinforced for blueprinting. The crank is machined and polished and precision balanced. It's getting reinforced rods and pistons, as well.

That kind of power under the hood of the big Mercedes’ engine bay is more than enough for consistent 1/4 mile runs in the mid 10s and an electronically governed top speed of nearly 220 MPH (350 km) with the stock ECU.
