Well "need too" I guess you could say not for those mods considering the s55 has an extra heat exchanger compared to the e55 and when people mod they put another one on which has similar cooling capabilities to the s55 stock system.
You can add another h/e, the longer you can keep the iat down the longer the power will stay.
There is lots of ways to mod the cooling system.
split it from the engines coolant
add a trunk tank
higher flowing pump
what headers are you getting?

I have an 010 Bosch in the box still, is bleeding the system necessary or will it bleed itself? I think I'm just gonna go with kleemanns mid lengths. Was gonna try EC w211 mid lengths but someone else attempted on a cl55 and it was not gonna happen. Maybe even do the 82mm throttle body down the road.
