Tough news, I'm now stuck parking out on the street 24/7

When he recently retired, moved to DC on L street to a brand new Condo that has underground parking now for his 2023 M850i droptop. He sold his 2019 XJL Collection to Carmax just before moving in. When I visit in my AMG Wagon I either have to park on the street, pay for a spot at outside parking lot, or park it down the street at Hotel's indoor parking garage for a fee. Many options since Nationals play around the corner.
Also, congrats on the new wife and new M5!

I'm stuck... I have to park it on the street. The parking lot behind my house is for the synagogue, there's a lot of action back there, lots of cars in and out, way too much of a chance for someone to dent the car with all the strollers and stuff so that's out.
My only chance is the sidestreet and hope no one f's up the car by parking in front and back of it and rubbing bumpers. I don't think that would happen since the 3 spots on this street are VERY large, oversized, plenty of room for people to park behind or in front of me without messing up my bumper.
I'm totally bummed about this but keeping it to myself. I never thought this would happen but it's all good. In the end, I guess... it's just stuff. It's hard to even say that because I love this car so much. There's no garage to rent near me or other options like that so... it will just sit there and I'll pray it survives OK. I was offered like $73k in an email the other day from my dealer. I thought... hmmm, what could I get for $73k? A 2014 Jeep Wrangler Polar Edition which I'd love to have but wouldn't be near as nice as this car (I went to Antarctica twice including the South Pole and the theme of the car just works for me).
Or I could get a top of the line Camry and drive it as "beater" but that doesn't really do anything to solve this problem.
Or I could get another type of car that's more suited to the street, like... a Defender (we don't have an SUV now and I never really wanted one but ... hmmm).
Well, these all seem like lame ideas since I love my MB so for now, I'll just wait and see what happens with it out there.

that dealership looks familiar. That is a true first world predicament to have. It is hard.

We park our Asian Appliances outside in Georgia and Daughter parks her Gifted Buick Encore outside in Laurel Maryland. Keep my V8s protected inside New Mexico Garage including my #3 of 3 Chevy SS. When I visit DMV I can park Inside a Lorton Virginia Garage for free in an emergency. Virginia is for Lovers... lol.
Seriously ex-roomate parked last at Garage by LA Fitness 3550 South Clark Street in Arlington, Virginia 22202 and left one of his two cars parked there for years without incident. Much higher end vehicles than his agricultural Supercharged XKR droptop and XJL Collection parked at Secured Indoor Garage Structure. He still goes to gym in retirement now in his 2023 M850i and prefers the Supermarket with Pharmacy on the Virginia side over anything by the Navy Yards or in Maryland. His original Crystal City Garage location had gone up in Rent. Arlington Garage charged him $175 per month a few years ago. I'm sure you can find a similar type setup in an Affluent Maryland location near your Batcave (where you can switch between your S63 and Porsche) if you don't want to drive to Virginia and maybe have the bonus of a great gym while your wife is at Work?

It was filmed in Philly, Detroit, Providence, Staten Island, Hempstead, and Trenton. They would have plenty of footage for cities around Maryland.
I hate the idea of leaving my car out of my sight. If I have to stay in a Motel, I want to park right outside my motel room.
At any rate, I sympathize with you. Put a Saint Christopher medal on the rear view. It can’t hurt.

Spouse compromises. It is tough but correct choice to keep the spouse happy.
