2015 mercedes s63 AMG
rennteh evm problem
Hi my s63 came with a renntech evm but didn't have the remote from renntech so I bought one fast forward I tried to pair the remote to the motherbord to get the remote to open the valves but my motherbord seems to not work thare is no light that pops up on mother bord. So i tried lifted the car and checked the cables everything seems good but dont know what my problem is. Has anyone ever had this problem and can a mother bord be fixed because renntech wants $500 for a new mother bord too much! Also dose it relly make a diffrence in the sound.

No experience with the EVM, but as for the sound, sport mode opens the exhaust valves. That would be the sound. You could have it coded to start in sport mode (keeping valves open at all times) and wouldnt need the evm.

Thank you for the help i wonder why mine dosent work it has to be the mother bord it will not connect the remote to it. I hate to buy a new one but my s63 dosent really sound that good to me i thought it would be louder but its a 2015 so I dont know. Thanks

Does the 2015 have the M278 or the M177?

I don't know what engine it has and I know it's a twin-turbo V8 I'm new to this Mercedes for my first one I love the car super fun. how do you find out what engine variant it has lol
