Finally got the E63 on the dyno
Car: 2014 E63 AMG S biturbo 4matic
Mods: Speedriven catless downpipes and Speedriven ECU flash. (Stage 2 with conservative tune)
ECU flash and downpipes installed December. So far zero problems. Got the car on the dyno today. There's only 1 AWD dyno on island. Unfortunately they couldn't get the RPMs to register so I don't have wheel tq numbers. Car made 559 whp STD corrected and 548 whp SAE corrected.
92 octane using Techron gas. Three pulls done in 4th gear. First pull the car up shifted so that explains the dip in the graph in the video. Speedriven stage 2 gives rating of 660 crank horsepower so accounting for little over 15% drivetrain loss it's pretty spot on. If I had my tq readings it would be in line with what the stage 2 promises as well.
With that said shout out to Speedriven for all their support. Especially with me living on an island. I never had to wait more than 24 hours for a response and most were same day. Jo answered all my questions even my ridiculous ones. I spent some time looking for good downpipes and ECU flash for a reasonable price and I'm glad I went with them. The car has been running great. I still have not replaced my spark plugs which was not a requirement for the tune but nevertheless encouraged so I'll be having them replaced next week. If anyone has questions please reach out to me.

I would tune for max power but I have no shops on island that can pro tune my E63. I specifically requested a more conservative safe tune until I move back to the mainland. Hawaii doesn't even have the roads to support that much power so I'm good for now.

stock S model had 577 bhp. I've heard a few stories that they push out higher numbers on the dyno but haven't really seen anything. I'm overall happy with how my car is running. I choose reliability or maximum power any day of the week.

Stock S model dyno sheet sir. Take it as you may, I went Eurocharged instead after running worse than stock 1/8th mile times.
Have you done any logs of your car post-tune? I'd be interested to look over them.

Thank you for that. It's AMS though. And there's higher octane in Illinois. And they build amazing cars. I'm sure I can send my ECU back and ask for a more aggressive flash but I'll hold off for now. I'll do some logging in the future and will have the car re dyno'd after the shop on island updates all their dyno stuff (apparently getting all new software). Do you know what gear the AMS tune was in? I had e erythung done in 4th.

Here is the info: http://www.*********.com/content.php?4724-Comparing-4Matic-and-rear-wheel-drive-W212-E63-AMG-M157-output-to-the-wheels-on-a-Dynojet-when-stock-and-ECU-tuned-pre-and-post-facelift
But what I was trying to point out was the bone stock dyno of 541whp on the S model 4matic.

and you want to dyno in 5th gear it's the closest 1.1 gear. And I agree with what the others have said most bone stock E63s cars dyno bone stock at 520-540 whp and close to 600lbft plus or minus 30tq. You need to resume in 5th gear something is off for a tuned car

Most of my other cars have been limited to 155mph and had to be dynoed in a lower gear. I remember a dyno operator also saying they didn't like taking the dyno above 160mph anyway. I believe 5th gear would go up to about 185mph at redline in the E63 S. Have you guys had any issues with the dyno operator not wanting to spin the rollers that fast?

For what it's worth BMR guy that tuned my car said that on lower octane gas they like them richer and mine was tuned at 11.7. I trust what he was saying. He's tuned some seriously fast cars.

That completely slipped my mind. I'm used to 4th gear since I owned an Evo for five years. I plan on having it dynod again in a few month but move the rev limiter up from 6000 to 6500 and of course do it in 5th gear.

I think it will help ! It will be reliable as hell when your putting out stock numbers
