Were you able to change it? I have a problem and I think it might be related. I found oil in the intake tube.

You're lucky you don't have a 2014+ M275 Engine E Class... I just changed the PCV valve in mine and it took 3 hours to get to. Luckily one of my buddies has a shop and it didn't cost an arm an a leg to do, but Mercedes quoted me over $750 to do this job.

Also, I spoke to a friend that works at MB he said to replace the hose while you're doing it. I am changing spark plugs and I think I might just do this job. Then he said make your you use some kind of solvent to clean those valves.

I had to replace a braded line hose on the suction side bec the hose was collapsing. To fix that replace it with Braded oil certified hose. Its 3/4 inner diameter on both sides At an 45 degree coupler

Nice, I like it and I now understand the concept. Thank you for that. I taking off the intake plenum tonight. There are only two hoses that is connected to the intake, 1 is from the centrifuge (this is the one that connects to the catch can) and the other is a small vacuum line coming from the front of the crankcase. The smaller line has a check valve cuz after I clean the tip, I tried blowing into it and it is a one way valve. Does the bigger hose has that check valve?
One thing that confuses me, I believe the OEM created a catch can. If you look under the elbow there is a container for oil to drip in.

Dennis, I took everything off and it seems the PVC system is working well. I blew air in it and it created a vacuum and then released the air as soon as I stopped blowing air then the centrifuge (pvc) release the air back out.
I will be installing a baffled Catch can: https://www.ebay.com/itm/3-4-Barb-0-...1185b742aea3de
Also, check out the pics from the intake removal. https://mbworld.org/forums/e-class-w...00k-miles.html

w212 E220 cdi 2013 PCV Valve location
Hi I have a w212 E220 CDI and Im looking for information on the location of the PCV valve, the engine is using more oil lately and its not leaking anywhere so I suspect its the OCV valve, the car has 415,000 km and is running good but using more oil. Any help would be appreciated.
