Hi guys, does anyone have a link for a tow hook license plate mount, I bought one from amazon and says its for mercedes but its too small, had to return it, thank you!

It would help if you posted the model and year of the vehicle. What part of the item was too small - plate, rod, threads?

2024 E350, rod it too small and short.

Have you thought about fabricating one? It should be fairly simple to buy the parts - a threaded rod and a plate.

I'm glad I live in a state that does not require front plates. The tow hook mounted plates look ugly to me but perhaps it's better than drilling holes in the front grill or bumper.

So the US versions have different bumpers? Front plates are mandatory in the whole of the EU and there's a special place for them on the bumper. It looks good to me, but maybe I'm just used to all cars having front plates.

Ah, I like your discovery better. More adjustability at a lower price.

Let us know if the lug through the bumper cover is too long or short or just right.

it says in the listing "For 2003-2009 Mercedes Benz E-Class With NO Parking Distance Sensor Model Only.- 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009"

That may not work for a 2024 W214.

Parking sensors on the W214 are far out near the corner of the bumper, unless I missed the other sensors lol

You may be right but I would still be cautious. Page 199 of the manual says not to add additional license plate brackets. Not sure what the "detection ranges" around them mean but apparently that must be kept free.

Yes drove it last night and today, no sensor triggered.
