Exhaust sound SL600 vs SL55
Can the V12 600 sound mean like the SL55 with an exhaust upgrade?
Which exhaust gives the better sound to the V12? Eisenman , Remus ..any other

At low speeds and just a little throttle, it's still very quiet.
But when you hit it, and the revs go up towards 4000rpm, it goes beserk and sounds sooo great. Everybody tells me that.
An operation that cost about $600,-
Wether I lost or gained some power doesn't matter, since I had it tuned to 640hp crank, wich also is a very easy operation.
Good luck.

Here's how the 600's sound with only the resonators removed, and AMG-style tips...

What mods did you make to reach 640Hp? iIs it the Renntech program with the ECU + TCU? Are you satisfied? is there really a huge difference from stock, regarding power feeling? Thanks in advance

They are very proffessional, and in my opinion among the better...
Kleeman has requested his help once. So he went down there (Denmark), and came back and wasn't a bit impressed with their know-how nor knowledge!
Sadly, they don't do TCU's.
But there's a huuuge different in thrust. No question about it!
It really KICKS when the pressure's up. Such a feeling! And you will have no problem starting your burnout on second gear cruising. And from a stand still, as in the movie, he just keeps burning rubber... Even on 4th gear...
I highly recommend it.

It was Tumba Turbocenter in Stockholm that helped me out regarding the tuning. They've helped me out before with my old S600TT.

The tuner that you used sounds like they did a great job, as we are getting roughly the same results. We recommend using K&N filters with the tune as it will improve the way the tune works....so if you don't have them...
With 600s and 65s we have started recommending a TCU upgrade. It holds the gears, rather than shifts. Shifts quicker, and generally just brings the car to a better level of performance. You tuner did such a great job, I am surprised that he doesn't do TCUs. Let him know that we may be able to help his clients...and complete the package.
