i would join but I don't have the AMG rear bumper. If someone is selling one let me know.
I'm also curious on how this will work because the pic of the OEM has as grey strip below the black mesh. Will the grey part also be removed? otherwise I don't see how you can add the 3 fin insert.

Just make a batch for the SL55?, then I will join that GB. Just have to modified for bigger cutouts. I lost over $2k in Revosport bumper/diffuser, due to poor packing support.

Yes, I do have the plastic strip at the bottom of my bumper, so the black plastic strip represents the AMG Sports package? And if so, your kit would fit?

Need three more people
We still need three more confirmed for the rear CH difusser for the R230 SL500. I've contacted the manufacturer and they can proceed with the 7 we have now, but the price would go up to $975... If none of you know another person interested in purchase, I would be willing to buy a second unit in hopes of selling to someone later who saw it on my car, or as a spare if damaged. If two other's would do the same we'd have our ten, just a thought...

Well guys today i had a customer with an SL500 come in an purchase a set of our wheels and he asked if we have a diffuser. I told him we did not, and told him about this thread. He was actually going to write us a check right then to get it on the GB, but I said hold off from doing that today. This puts us at 9. Which is close enough and I will have no problem selling the last one, in fact, i am sure within a few days after people see it, they will want to jump in. But now here is the part where everyone seems to hide. We are now ready to continue, and purchase a bumper and start production. If we create a link on our website to finally collect the payment and get this going, are all 8 of you still around? What we typically see if only a few actually wind up paying and thee GB either falls apart, or drags on for years... So now is the moment of truth. Please let me know if the 8 of you are now ready to finally get this going!
