I'll try and take a pic for you but if my memory serves me correctly I don't think it makes a diiffrence none of them are a direct fit. The pipe gets cut off and then modification is needed.

Do you want the ovals or the new style rectangles? They're are a couple sellers on eBay. Enter 'amg exhaust tips' in the search bar. Let me know how you make out.

Based on the last pic, the car turned out real nice but please, loose that AMG badge! Hope it doesn't say SL63 on the other side... That would really diminish the nice conversion job.

Body style as the 6.2 engine has been replaced with the bi-turbo 5.4 liter, yet it still proudly wears the SL63 emblem and so do I!

Wolfman thanks for the compliment. Sorry to disappoint you but yes it is a full blown clone with fender badges and all! Lol. I'm pretty sure that some models with the amg sport package do come with the amg badge. I'm not 100% sure but some of the seniors I see here on the east coast wearing the emblem I'm quite sure they didn't slap it on there (but you never know). Lol Re: the SL63: unfortunately my friend. SL63 nowadays just represents the Body style as the 6.2 engine has been replaced with the bi-turbo 5.4 liter, yet it still proudly wears the SL63 emblem and so do I!

I hear ya. The fender vents however would not look appealing at all without anything on them. What would you suggest for those?

Exactly right! I like my vehicles to look stock so I was actually going with either the SL63 wheels or the star shape that goes on the CL & ML when I stumbled on these and they were a must have! There was a different wheel on eBay that I contacted the guy about and then he sent me a pic of those and that was that! Lol I'll pm his number...
& thanks for the compliment.

That depends if you have the AMG or standard vents on yours. Couldn't tell by the pic. I would use the AMG one without the bi turbo lettering and debadge the rear altogether. Or better yet, get the Side vents in CF. Those look fantastic...

Well the fenders did come with the 6.3 badging which of course looks great but hmmm, carbon fiber would look sexy too!

Sooo...
Here is my attempt at a photo shoot; and now I know why folks hire professionals. Anyhow, I didn't want to post pics prior to debadging and installing the lowering links & big brake kit but since the next snow storm was just hours away and I didn't wanna keep you folks waiting anymore... Here is the best I could do.
More pics to follow and the interior is next! Enjoy...
And now we're home and barely caught the beginning of another few inches. Ugh...
Hope you enjoyed... )

SWEET! What a awesome job you have done on this car! Congrats! I hope you are leaving that baby in the garage until that ****ty weather is over. I'm here in Texas, we hardly get any snow ever, but my baby only comes out when it is 60 degrees or above. I am so itching to drive her. I'm so stoked, weather this week calls for mid sixties starting this thursday straight through the weekend. Thank you for taking the time to post pics of your hard work. It shows, that car is beautiful! Looking forward to the interior.

where to buy new pins, need asap!
Well -Reg- My friend. The shop has been waiting on a super-tech (that even Mercedes dealerships use) to come in and wire the lights and also to see why the car all of a sudden isn't starting (engine turns but is not getting fuel) so hopefully it's nothing major. Since my last post: the taillights, clear brake light, mirror covers w/ courtesy lights are all wired up and the inside of the trunk is all back together. The painted back bumper & diffuser are installed and the old oval muffler tips are cut off to make room for the new Quad tips.
A fellow forum member 'Raffi' that also did the conversion pointed me in the right direction where I was able to get photos of a new pin configuration using oem connectors for the new lights, so the shop has the new connectors and will attempt to reconfigure the pins this week. Hopefully these pics should also help other members in the future when doing a conversion.
Old & New pin configuration:
*P.S. Don't be alarmed that there are two Brown wires and two white wires w/ black stripes. I am told that the size of the pins will let you know where they go.
