SL retrofit for tall drivers?

I'm 6'4" and I can't fit in an SL. My eyes are above the windshield frame.

I know there are many NBA players with this car that are substantially taller than I.

Any thoughts?

I'm trying to figure how you fit in your 911???

I'm only 6'0" and the Turbos I have sat in are cramped to say the least. No problems with the SL though I'm not as tall as you.

Seat way back and reclined and I'm fine in a 911.

very odd, I am 6' 8" and I have driven an SL500 for a good distance (2 hours). I thought it was fine.

front of seat as high as it will go, back of seat all the way down, move seat forward until legs touch steering wheel, back off a bit, adjust recline to taste.

I am 6'9 and have no problems as well.

It is a tight fit across the shoulders and I don't have more than 3/4" of an inch of additional headroom but it works just fine in my SL55.

Is it just me or are 95% of car enthusiasts/drivers/testers really tall.

That is exactly what I do when I drive my Dad's SL55 (6'4" here) and I fit with no problem at all.

Finality, do you have any experience that this is available in an SL? It seems tied to the "easy exit" feature, and I have never seen a SL where the seat moves back, only the steering wheel up.
