Your thoughts on PPI and purchase of 2005 SL55 AMG
I am about to become a proud owner of my first SL with widebody kit on it (I will post photos once I get it). The SL is being sold by classic/exotic car dealer and PPI has been performed by MB of St. Louis. Both dealers seem to be great to deal with so far.
If you look at the results (attached), there are two issues (common): ABS valve + strut leak and battery charging issue. Both were not described in the ad by the dealer, so I think I can ask to lower the asking price, but how much?
I work on my other GL550 and 560SEC myself, so I could get it done. What amount would you ask for? By the parts value at least, right?

If it were me, I'd start with the quote and see how they react. One way or another they'll have to address it to sell the car, unless they just hold out for a more ignorant buyer.
