New Member -- Need Indoor Cover

Hello! Just joined the forum; bought my vehicle during CoVid after Nationwide search for color/options. I bought this in Fresno, CA and had it shipped to S.Fla...that's how crazy it was to find one! I had 29K miles at purchase and is just over 31K now. I live in beachfront condo with underground parking and need a nice, indoor compact cover to keep dust from accumulating. Any suggestions?

Check out Budge, I got one for my W212 and am very happy with it, unless you're looking to spend more money for a premium custom fit.

I used to throw a bedsheet over my SLK. Never bothered with the SL.

WE use Cover King on our cars. They are a perfect fit and easy to put on and take off. They fold up easily and they have a case you can add for a few dollars to keep the cover clean while not is use.

Hey thanks for all the inputs. I should have mentioned that my 'ideal' cover is like a sock, one of those stretch deals that I'm hoping rolls up to be pretty compact to fit below the trunk floor cover. This seems to be the thing:

Amazon Amazon

I work as Gov't contractor and travel a lot, also live in S. Florida where it rains a lot...so I typically save her for date nights and fair weather. All that time in garage creates dust; without a cover if you get any sort of sprinkle, it makes a mess and needs a full rinse and dry job. I may try that Amazon post deal because I want the the window pockets. The CoverKing is super nice, but maybe more high end for my CONOPS.

Just curious when during covid19 did you purchase the vehicle? 2020, 2021, 2022? Covid dropped in March 2020.

Beautiful SL. Congratulations on your purchase. Nice color and your wheels pop. Are they chromed or polished? I have same wheels but mine are gray/machined and look dull in comparison.

Bought this in Apr of 2021, so about a year after the balloon went up.

Wow, I guess there are still low miles cars out there if you keep hunting. You only drove about 2k miles in two years? You don't like the car as much as you hoped??

Those wheels are head turners for sure; however, I found out subsequent to the purchase (long story) the rears were cracked radially and had been repaired (TIG welded). The weld beads were cracking again and slow leaking air so I just bought a set of new ones. I was a military pilot and tbh it was kinda harrowing to see those cracks and have the dealer suggest I just have them re-welded -- yikes! Apparently it's a thing for those wheels, and I think I may have a front that is cracking but have not investigated in detail. Believe I hit a pothole pretty good and may have started another crack.

After some research, I found LA Wheel and Tire https://www.lawheel.com/ in Sylmar, CA. Steve L hooked me up with a pair shipped to South Florida and threw in chrome lugs: 19 X 9.5 AMG 2013 SL 5 SPOKE w/Free Shipping. They are OEM AMG wheels and they do the chrome.

Yup...only around town for date nights. In 2022, I was on travel for most of year on a few big projects. 150 hotel nights...

So I got the Amazon deal and it's just what I needed, and cheap too...around $100 to the door and came with nice stuff sack AND a zippered storage case. Pretty sweet. It's just like an UnderArmour workout shirt for the car...super light, compact storage, and stretchy.

I have read here on the forum that our wheels are prone to cracking from potholes. I had thought about having my wheels chromed but decided to wait for a while. After seeing yours, I am having second thoughts.
