Yep, very little content when it comes to Starling Blue. Its very similar to Brilliant Blue though and will start to be very popular when the new C-Class' arrive soon.

This is the only photo I have seen with a Starling Blue SL and even here they are not front and center.

The thing that irks me with all AMG's is that that they still install these cheap and tacky rubber airbag covers on the steering wheel. Lesser non-AMG's get the Nappa leather. Go figure...

This color is pretty popular. I've seen a few BMW M cars with it. Looks good in the wild but it would probably get tired looking very quick. To me it's like a non-color, color.

Yes, everyone is making their own different version of Nardo Grey and Chalk and honestly I'm so tired of it.

Agreed. But it looks good with black hence it's a good match with performance cars. I also feel that all black cars are played out yet they keep on being popular...

Thanks for being so diligent in posting the SL in all variations! The closest thing to seeing these variations in the flesh

Not trying to derail the thread but I wanted to see the AMG GT silhouette and compare them with the new SL. I think AMG has done a great job hiding the larger cabin but it's interesting how much shorter the front end (hood) is if I look at the distance from front wheel to A-pillar. I am getting a bit of the CLA vibe from the SL side.

Well this shouldn't be too shocking that it has a smaller dash to axle ratio, afterall the GT needs more space in order to fit the front-mid engine layout that the SL doesn't need to worry about.

Understand the rationale. Love that long hood though

Thanks! There is something very special about an unpractical, low-tech (infotainment & light show) classic roadster. Tons of power, glorious sound, lightweight and fantastic weight distribution. Fun ride

I think that's a keeper. I wouldn't trade it in, might regret later. Gorgeous.

Not sure, because the event was hosted in America they went with US spec cars. I'm not sure there'll be any major differences between US and EU spec cars other than of course the dreaded OPF Exhaust and the rear bumperettes.
