The grey top can be nice........but not on a red car.......OMG............it might fit the Alpin Grey or Silver car maybe?

The color of a training car couldn't be more irrelevant. The techs don't care or need to worry about how the car looks. It's much cheaper for MB to build a plain jane training car since it will likely be destroyed at some point.

Just something of note, those cars will eventually be available for sale as CPO cars after refreshes and software updates. They were early production, not preproduction cars.

Because it's a "training" car and not a "press" car? I don't think the service or sales team care about the color.

It was just luck of the draw for the rep. I have seen the majority of the few cars (~40 or so) and they cover just about every color and option available, even some that will not be available from the get go. (certain tops, interior colors, sport seats, etc)

Not a fan of the steering wheel and to a certain extent the giant iPad.......................but, absolute nitpicking....................................... It's a stunner.
