I am not good with technology - so I took delivery of a Selenite grey SL63 yesterday and was thinking of doing something like this, of course without the words/lettering and would like to get your honest opinions please!

Since you asked...my subjective take.
I don't think this looks good on a SL. Any stripes or colored stripes on diffuser, etc. I feel Manhart cars look tacky. Gives me the 80's Black/Gold JPS vibe.
GTR or GTR Pro seem better suited to handle stripes.
We did have an E63s Edition1 which had a similar side stripe as the Manhart. I was going to remove it but it was more subtle and we left it as-is. It worked for the Black magno but even this look wouldn't right on the design of the SL.

A big "Thank You" to all of you for your thoughts and advise and I have decided not to down this route.
I have to agree that what looks great and appropriate on a GTR does not necessarily look great on an SL. I am going to enjoy the vehicle the way it is.
Thanks again!
