Pics! SL600 Renntech LowMod
Install was pretty simple. Remove left underdash panel, disconnect connectors of ABC control module. Splice Renntech harness into vehicle wiring. Plug in Renntech lowering module, set function switch for ABC(position 2) and adjust ride height.
I encountered one problem though... Renntech handled it perfectly and shipped me new gear overnight. Btw, this installation was done for a client. It is not my car.
Overall, it's a pretty sweet system. I kinda wish the module was more "plug and play" so no tampering with the factory harness was neccesary. Or if they could just have designed it to where you un-pin the factory wires and install them into a Renntech piece, etc. Also, with the length of the Renntech harness its not really easily adjustable. I tucked it into the dash right behind the left end-cover on the instrument panel. Then the cover has to be removed to access the adjustment switches.
These pics are at setting 3, which is the "medium" lowering setting. Setting 0 is WAY too low for daily driving. Ride quality was effected slightly but not too much. More of a rigid/bouncy feel over bumps.

Tangerine- sorry thats all I have. On 0 it looks like a teenagers honda civic on coil-overs. Thats how low it is.
Sprins-the Renntech module just intercepts the signal from the level sensors at each corner making the ABC module think the car is sitting too high. The ABC adjusts by lowering the car. Everything else operates like factory.
Teutonic-I did not have to remove the dash. Just the end cover which is held in by two clips and pops out easily. I don't know of any wireless remote... would be nice though.

Then don't drive in Buffalo...the salt kills the roads. It isn't like we don't maintain them, but during the repair process it is just as bumpy and now they don't even put up the bump sign with going from being fixed road to old road, your car wouldn't make it. Looks awesome though!
