Berry Red Floor Mats
Some of you may only get in and out of your car in the dry, but sadly I have to get in and out in the wet, given the rigours of the British climate. I'm finding the berry red floor mats do not disguise dust and dirt at all well. Far from it, it dries to an all-too-aparent contrasting crust!
I've bought a set of graphite mats to use in winter which do a better job of hiding the dirt. They look fine too because they match the black of the dashboard. Come summer, back go the red ones!
Perhaps Mercedes should offer "***". The new Automatic Shoe Sanitation feature is linked to Keyless Go and deploys automatically from the door sill when you come in range to give your shoes a quick mini jet-wash and blow dry. Keyless Go will then only unlock the door to let you in when the dual laser guided sensors have confirmed your designer footwear exceeds the minimum "SH-I-T" - the Shoe Integrity Threshold you have set up using a new option in the COMMAND menu.

1M, F550M, F550B, F40, S600, 365GTC, DBSx2, etc.
Many owners of red-interior cars end up ordering black carpets, one because of the nice color off-set, and two because of the nightmare red carpets will be in day-to-day use.

PS: How are you liking the Silver Arrow silver? Does it strike you as materially different?

I love it! In some lights it is hard to see any difference to brilliant silver but in others it makes brilliant silver look distinctly yellowish.
I had silver arrow paint on my R129 SL500 silver arrow 'special edition' so I knew what it was going to be like.
In sunlight it stands out as very bright silver, almost verging on metal flake.
Graham.

Agree with BlueSL. It rains often and heavily along the gulf coast; I'm actually switching to the all weather rubber mats (I do this for all my cars given the weather) as available and reserving the Berry mats for sunny days only.
