Tire Poll... how long do your tires last ???
How long do your tires last ?
It would be very helpful if everyone posted the brand of tire with how many miles they get from a set.
EXAMPLE: Pzero rosso, miles: 30k front tires, 24k rears.
rears were shot and the fronts still had 2k-4k left.

Edit: Wait are you talkin 30000 miles, 48000 km on one set? That is extremely good!!!

Should the front tyres not last a lot longer. I have 2013 SL63 AMG and the fronts dont even last 20 000km.
While on my BMW M6 for instance the fronts go up to 60 000km?
On my GTR the front and rear go on about the same amount of KM obviously because it AWD? Around 20 000km also.
Rears I can understand going faster on a RWD car but the fronts shouls last a lot longer..?
Or am i missing something ?

Variables. replace front tires at 6,000 mi.. Variable= replace left control bar and bushing. Rear tires at last wear bar, needs replacing at 6,000 mi.. Variable= Mercedes SA is full of it. Costco reports plenty of tread left, no problem. It is though, my experience and expectation, that the weight of the 12 cylinder engine will cause the front tires to wear quickly. Usually 15,000 or so.

You definitely need to run higher pressures than is recommended to get good tire life out of the front tires on the V12 models. Just replacd mine after 25k miles. There were Michelin Polot S2's. The new set should last 40k+ miles since the treadwear rating is more than double with the new tires.
