Could you guys post some pics of your cars with the smoked markers. I have thought of swapping mine out, but am unsure if the car will look riced out..
Thanks
Nick

I can't seem to find these for my 2007 SL550. Seem to be lots for the SL500 before '07. Anybody got an idea where I can get them for my car?

I have an '07 as well, but I never found any for an '07. Plenty for '06 and before.

Here are the clear and smoke side markers for an 07-08 SL. I have an 06 and purchased from ebay, but these include the bulbs you'll need. I'll post pictures of mine shortly. In need to take extra car when "snapping" the painted bumper trim back into place so as not to break the taps.

Why don't you guys do it properly and take your car to the paint shop,
get em removed filled and painted, go on, you can afford it.

Unfortunately, no so with an '07 as they are different. Seems you need to remove a wheel and then remove the inner fender. After I receive mine I'll post my observations.

Why would we want to get them removed and filled?? That is the dumbest thing i have ever heard of. I am still not sure if i like the smoked look or not. I actually liked the contrast of the amber sidemarker.
I am gonna keep the smoked in and see if they grow on me..

Because it then looks part of the cars body, instead of a stick on!
What' dumb about that.

You do know that these replace the OEM lights, and are still functional. They are not just a smoked film over the OEM lights, and are not "stuck on"..

Anyway, I think to complete my look i would like to have my headlights painted and smoked like AMGFAN's..
My headlights contrast a little too much for the rest of my car..

The side markers are only reflectors,or do they have bulbs that light up?
The Uk ones are merely reflectors.

Interesting... Here in the states they light up (have bulbs in them)... Didn't know they were reflectors oversees...

Yep reflectors, I have had them done on a Jag, Subaru, and a few more, it always looks better. We do have repeaters which have bulbs in the wing and mirror, but not right up front.
