Man, that's an awful lot of red. I like the Revozport stuff, and the Kleemann mods are always great, but just a bit too much red inside for me. It looks like the gearshifter, door sills, airbag and lower seat plastic were painted? I think had you left the upper dash, A/C vents, speaker grills, and steering wheel black, it would've come together quite nicely.

That's cultural. Middle eastern usually love that kind of interiors.

I like that car. a good mix of europeans and americans brands.

I'm almost sure the interior alone was 15K

Thanks buddy for your comment
Well, the photoshoot was right after I picked up the car after being detailed, maybe it was a bit too shiny. I personally am obsessed with the red interior in any car. Guess everybody has their own taste.

Thanks!
Well, the 63 bumper was sent from revozport (with the help of MB Shanghai), I can't really remember, it was fitted more than a year ago, but from what i remember, it was something to do with simple wiring things, but i didnt bother myself with the actual sensors

Yeah, middle easterns have a somewhat 'unique' taste in cars if you know what i mean
The interior of the car was a custom job by fabdesign, its a '1 of 1' interior job.
thanks for your comment!

I just wanted to say that In middle East, and even in europe, people love to completely reupholstering their interior.

Something that is rather rare in Usa, Where people usually prefer invest in Engine modifications and nice wheels.

Funny you say that. My non go fast mods consist of window tint. My go fast mods are many. you hit the nail on the head with your observation.

To the OP. Obviously a ton of expensive quality and exclusive work has been done to that ride of yours. Awesome go fast mods. I like the wheels and carbon fiber stuff. The red interior is just a bit over the top for me.

Enjoy that machine.

I'm American with middle eastern heritage and love the interior though I do agree a little black contrast pieces might improve it further, just so it doesn't look like someone sprayed everything red .

In the USA many people think this is pimped out or ghetto but I know our culture lives the bright colors, gold plating etc

Just wondering, was the metal center console and door trim original to the car? The only reason I ask is I have only seen it one other time... On my SL. I actually like it better than the wood trim. it seems more sporty. The wood trim looks great on Es and Ss and MLs.

Well, basically the only reason I never went with black parts in the car was for one main reason. When we got the car, color was designo diamond silver, and red from the inside, the silver trim if you guys notice, is the same color as my exterior paint. Makes the car look really wild especially when I put the top down, i'll post a few pics with the top down.

The car was sent to fab design right after it was made, so it never had any AMG or a mercedes interior (designo or etc). I'll post up a few close up pictures of the interior of the car, it was hand stitched (not that great though) You'll see what I mean once i post the pictures.
and yes, i agree, the metal trim gives it a very sporty feel to the interior
I'd like to see an interior shot of your SL if thats possible

You should get the front lip, got it from one of the sponsors on mbworld.
And btw, noticed your signature, your car is gorgeous. Gold rims, really nice and unique taste you've got there buddy!

As requested, here are some photos of my interior trim. I will take some more shots in the morning. It is dark and cold in Indiana right now and unfortunately, my SL is having its long winter slumber. Man do I miss driving her. I do sit in it from time to time. Just got to be careful to not get caught by my wife.

Really nice bro!
Yeah, i know what you mean. Im the exact opposite as you, drive the SL way more in the winter than in the summer! Miss the hell out of my car in the summer!
Once again, love your interior trim!

While not my taste I respect and admire your dedication to developing the car YOU wanted. Great job!

Let's here about the performance. You can't put $14k intercoolers on a car and not pony up some numbers...lol.

Well, thank you buddy

The car is producing 640hp right now. Concentrating on cooling the car, 55 S/C's produce lots of heat, and it gets pretty hot over here in the summer.
So far, have a project planned aiming for +700hp, complete new suspension (sick of the stupid hydrolic system MB has) Lots of weight loss (CF everything), TCU tuning and etc...
Its going to be a slow project, but ive got high hopes for this one.

After taking the SL to the F1 track here, NEVER again will i take it on a track unless i get my suspension changed. Im really happy with my evosport brakes, MUCH better than AMG rotors.

Anyone else here went through a bad experience on the track in their SL?
