09 Mercedes SL 63AMG and 98 TT Corvette (702/775 @ rear wheels)

Carbon Fiber Rear Defusser SL 63

Remember reading about these being available some time ago. Are they still available, if so, where can I get one (need contact info)? Also, has anyone installed one of these; how does it look? It looks like a straight bolt-in affair, is this correct? Appreciate the help and thanks.

I found an inexpensive one - not sure of quality!

I have been looking for a long time for one at ta reasonable price becuase they were all so expensive! I found a used bumper from an sl63 that I had repainted and has been sitting at the paintshop. I had communicated with these sellers in Taiwan, that were making after market ones but stopped. They just told me that they are back in production - I dont know the quality or fit, but they are quite inexpensive at $368 and you can make a lower offer ( which what i plan on doing). The last 3 they sold - sold for $268 and were accepted + $85 shipping. They have good reviews (676)

I bought one of those from Taiwan for $250 plus $85 shipping, just waiting for it to arrive.

That one from Taiwan, was a total POS. Came broken and did not fit a real SL63 as advertised. I disputed the carge on my AMEX.

That sucks - thank for the feedback. I was just going to buy one from Taiwan. Well, i guess i will have to keep looking - $2,800 does not work for me!

I just got one from MCD, and although the quality and looks was out of this world, it DID NOT FIT a real 2009 SL 63. WTF!!! Has anyone really bought one that looks good and fits???
