about 7 months! i havn't done anything to it but clean it in the last week now and going through withdrawls!! haha.
i keep forgetting before i got the body kit i was in the middle of making some beefy rear toe links for it. that is a low impact project to get wrapped up next.

i plan on it! i grew up in redmond actually. been in portland for 25 years now though and moved when i was 15 from there. still have alot of friends in that area so as we get more into summer i will be making the trip!

Have been following build. Great work, but you went thru a lot on that color choice and it seemed you personally wanted that color.
If you intended to sell the car, well, maybe a more neutral color???

on ebay one of every 20 people viewing the add ends up watching it. that is a pretty fantastic ratio. a few pretty cool trades have come up, one being a bentley cgt. may try to look at one local to see if it is of interest.
yes, the color choice was bouncing around abit right before paint, mostly due to others opinions i was listening to. in the end i stuck with my original choice of what i thought would be a knock out and it ended up being the right one.
i guess for me the building is the fun part. once done, while looking great, my focus just goes right onto whatever the next project may be. any more into the sl would be pissing money into the wind imo. what has been done would net the highest return on investment and leave a few things for the next owner to do if they have the same building bug as me! lol
all that being said, if it does sell i will be crying my *** of like a little baby when it drives off!! hahaa. not sold yet so i may still change my mind even if someone has money in hand.

well finally got some dry weather driving in. all i can say is, this thing is now to the senses as being violently yet politely RAPED!! loving it! have yet to floor it because i keep running into the traction control while digging into it.
it really does bring out the weakness in not having a lsd though. was fine at stock hp, but it really is a traction and control issue at this level. looks like it will be one of the next mods.

And drive with ESP on on this car is useless , i drive it always off, til i go high speed,it switch the gas of, and cant be used for 3 first gears on this cars . But powersliding this model , takes some traning to handle it if really goes to the extreme / sideways.. Sems also only tires that somehow can get traction is Pilot Sport

i am running the cm30 pump up front and that is it. in some cases more water flow can lead to the water not absorbing much heat and thus making more flow a bad thing. less heat in the water means less heat it pulled out of the intake temps. thought i would give the cm30 a shot first and looks like i am getting alot of the same results as guys with larger or twin pumps.

ok guys, here it is. my new car is waiting for me and this has to go. it is on ebay right now for $59000. I am willing to go to $54000 if a deal can be made next week! there is no chance in hell you are ever going to get a car like this for this price again!
