been honing my skills for awhile now and constantly challenge myself with more complex builds. takes time and patience, but doing it yourself can save tons of dough. to then buy more parts with! hahaa

a top gear episode with a french racing blue (almost exact to voodoo blue) jaguar was in it. there was a yellow lfa in the test also, but when they were all next to eachother driving down the road, the blue still stuck out the most. hard to imagine blue as a loud color, but this is it!

so you have done it before too huh? haha. my skin is so thick from work i am good. have had it happen before though. i was using all hard blocks though till the 2000 grit, so i think those don't allow the paper to move as much in my hand.
this dam car has so much detail and angles that it really had me puckered with the buffer a few times. only "safe" place to let it run was on the trunk and the center of the hood!

Congratulations, i think the car looks just fantastic. Truly amazing individual effort, you have my great admiration. You serioulsy need to re-engineer your drive way though!

laguna seca was one color i was looking at. it was abit turquoise though and decided not to. in pics in the sun, this color looks towards the laguna seca though in pics.

i used a very light base color, they may have used a darker base. even though it is a solid color and pigment, it still can make a difference. the cam though has a tough time really picking up the true color though. same is true if you look at a bunch of pics of blue fj's.

well, all preflight checks have been done and ready for the first drive! just taking it to lunch, but had to have a one shot of the ol' grain mash to ease the nerves! lol. out there, anything can happen and i don't want to do this process again! ahahaah

Photo shoot
I have 100 of superb photos of my old SL600 - mostly shot in and around a hour just when the light is right ..... it makes all the difference with the right lighting and I have found that the best light I find here at my place is in September ..... no direct sun but overcast in the afternoon .... when conditions are like that, then I have to hurry ....... patience is the key word if your shooting outside ...... but guess you photographer knows all that .....
Are you going to shoot in door? ........ and are you gonna try a rig shot? probably not a good idea with the car newly painted but it looks so cool .......
