Build looks amazing! I'm sure the car looks even more menacing in person.
Looks like your rear badges are a little off though... maybe paint those in matte black as well?

I have 100 of superb photos of my old SL600 - mostly shot in and around a hour just when the light is right ..... it makes all the difference with the right lighting and I have found that the best light I find here at my place is in September ..... no direct sun but overcast in the afternoon .... when conditions are like that, then I have to hurry ....... patience is the key word if your shooting outside ...... but guess you photographer knows all that .....
Are you going to shoot in door? ........ and are you gonna try a rig shot? probably not a good idea with the car newly painted but it looks so cool .......

not sure all the equipment he has. rig shot would be cool, but don't have to have. still have yet to pick a place, but i am thinking something close to sunset time.

that is one of the things, and one reason i post so many pics. i find it helpful to see pics of the car rather than seeing it in person. you just get floored in person and it all just looks perfect. seeing it in pics you can separate a little.
i had the garage open today and the wind was blowing a little. i had to dust the car off 5 times! ya, i am super ****! haha

i am on the fence about it right now. the chrome does give a much needed and good looking accent, but, i think just the mercedes star might be enough. giving it a couple days before i decide. right now i am 51% black and 49% leaving them chrome. it doesn't look bad in person at all.

led's were wired into the turn signal and have a mellow glow when the headlamps are on; AND they still flash amber when you use the signals

many thanx my man! the indy shop is ordering some up for me, also going to give the CLS the 'side mirror treatment' when the led emblems come in too

HELP! there's a little blue light bulb in front of the high beam that act as day time running light, but it's actually yellow when I turn it on, which sucks, I wanna change it, do you know what type of bulb that is?

ya, the yellow light looks like crap! i did the 3" projectors in my high beams so when the leds light up (i got the same type as that link with multiple leds) it looks killer. you can notice them in some of my pics. that is just the parking lights on, not the brights. has to be error free though. yup, even those little effing bulbs are monitored!!

had to go to the steel yard today and pick up some metal for a work project and started looking at retangular tubing for a quick easy exhaust tip. found a 2"x8" 3/16 wall tubing. i had him cut off a couple pieces and low and behold, they look awesome!! will post pics when done. cut my exhaust work down to 3 hours compared to 8 for $15 the pair!!
on a side note. the project i am working on right now is for a previous customer that knows my car habit and wanted me to custom build him a top lift for his cherry old bronco. fun project. all motorized lift and can be done easily with one person!

since nice weather is finally here again, i think i am going to limit my projects on the car to one or 2 day type projects. after all the intense time spent to just finish it, i want to enjoy for a little while now.
i may start building the spare engine up or working on camaro again though for the summer.

finally took the car out for the first time last night. in a 10 mile round trip to dinner the car got tons of broken necks, looking, crowd at gas station, crowd at restuarant, many thumbs up, and the waiter asking me to adopt him (which is weird since he was about 10 years older than me! LOL). so ya, car has quite an impact in person.
taking a nice cruise through the oregon wine country and to the coast tomorrow, should be a great drive with the top down!!

did the first cars and coffee yesterday morning. the car culture isn't big here in oregon so only about 30-40 cars show up at it. car got great responses with a consistent 15-20 people around it at all times.
feels good to see such a great in person response. many compliments on the quality with many thinking they were factory parts. hard to do a car that everyone can appreciate from the teenagers to the old timers. rarely happens like that. even the muscle car guys were hanging around asking questions.
put about 300 miles on car yesterday also with zero issues and even better, zero rock chips!

pro shots done today. saw some shots and it was looking sick!! he is sending them to me tomorrow and he will be posting on various boards himself. my pics are, well retarded as most have seen, hahaa.
here is one from my cell again. we went to a couple different locations. he had the ability to do rolling shots but his assistant flaked out.
