Beauty & the Beast!
Bought this beautiful 2011 RangeRover Sport Supercharged Autobiography/Startech yesterday, (Traded in my 07' RR) a stable-mate for the "Beast" I was all set to buy a 2012 RRSC w/lower mileage but.. Couldn't resist when I stumbled upon this gem. It has Full StarTech body kit + StarTech Variable Valve controlled exhaust w/tipps.. The paint is utterly flawless & obviously had a paint corection, looks a mile deep zero scratches/swirls/orange peal etc. Interior is so mint I literally can't find 1 area of normal wear anywhere on this vehicle..
The 22" Kahn wheels are flawless & great looking too but they will be going, fashion wheels kill hp, ride comfort, etc etc.. Anyone here intereted in buying them LMK I'm shopping for a new set of light 20"s w/bigger sidewall asap

Hey before I do massive search, do any of you here have the same model RR & V8 engine? w/modifications? This is the bigger 5.0 w/Maggie Twin Scroll I believe.. It makes 510 hp 465 tq stock, (Side note: Same exact Engine & Puffer found on the latest Jaguar FXR-S, only dif is it has a hotter ECU tune & brings power levels up to 550 hp 501 tq)
I'm looking for your opinion, who's the best @ tuning these RR's & where to purchase these parts? Thank you.. This will be done in the next 2-3 wks I'm already on the hunt for more ponies.. After Pulley/ECU it bumps it up nicely to 630 hp, couple this to 3.54 Gear ratio in the pumpkin & people are fetching basement 4 sec to 60 mph not too shabby for a portly 5750 lb suv!

Pimping Sean!
The owner of the brokerage I used to work for had a supercharged V8 Range. Loved crusing around in that thing.
What's the car under the cover?

Thnx bud Work van to move my artwork for clients etc.. Couple more pix
The actual seat padding & more surprisingly the quality of the leather used is much better than my Mercedes which was totally unexpected, they even have inflatable/deflatable bolsters, like MB & heated front & rear seats which is great for rear passengers (or taking the lady in the back seats)
Paddle Shifters & Push-button keyless go..

Good looking truck!! Although, you should have got gray. This way it would be in between in size and color of the Sprinter and the SL hahaha. Joking of course... Girls in the back seat....I like it, you are still young at heart.

Thnx tho I'm not even close to as old as you somehow perceive esp 1 who doesn't hit biscuits in the back seats now & then I don't wish to reach that age group, sounds like it totally blows?

Thnx on the WideBody, funny every time I get itch to sell her, I just go for a ride & forget all about it, these rigs are timeless inmop & after a wash/wax this thing gets sooo much attention it begs the Question what could I really replace her with? She makes 750+ rwtq 630 whp on 91 pump I've yet to get my ms109 race tune.. She's s a keeper!
Add few more pix showing V12 Biturbo..
Note just how WIDE the SL is in comparo to RRSC in actual left to right width in 2nd shot above

Yeah but, I bought a padded dog cover, that more than covers entire backseat area (had one from my 07 RR) but bought a higher quality version for this RR.. & Athena's kept tip top she's bathed weekly & as you know short hair is blessing & curse, it's very tiny BUT.. it gets everywhere so the RR's cleaned to the 9's after she rolls w/Poppa.. Her presence is far & away worth any extra Vacuum time

Regarding Athena, I have to share a humorous story. One day, years ago, I had Seamus, Sasha, and Skyboy (all rescued hounds) in my ML driving down the road with the windows down. I stopped at a light and felt the obvious tension of a guy staring at me in the lane to my left. I looked over and when we made eye contact, the driver said "I just washed my f-ing car and now it has dog slobber all over it." I was taken aback, but apologized and offered to pay for a car wash. He was in an older SRT 8 Charger and flipped me off and floored it when the light changed. Damn I wish I would have been in my SL55 when he did that.

Agreed on the R230..Haha what a toolbag.. Lucky that didn't happen to me 5 yrs ago when my temper got outta control all too often.. Kudos to you being the better man! I used to be surprised @ stunts people pull when behind the wheel in that mega fortress safety bubble they think is unbreakable lol.. There are so many nut jobs out there these days it's always best to just take the high road, until they leave you no alternative etc..

Well..at last I see the beast, looks damn mean .. I see what you mean
on tyre profile. You wouldn't believe it, I just bought a RR. I already have
a 1995 that's rotting away, but I would have loved to buy the sport that
you just acquired, I bought a 2005 3.0 diesel with ..wait for it..174 bhp.
It doesn't matter I am not out to blow anybody away, I believe you can
chip it up to 210 bhp. After seeing your 65 I am definitely going wide body
later this year, not sure which one to go for. Have a thought for me when
I am clattering along in my RR and you are pulsing down the freeway scaring
people.

05' RR still a great SUV..I traded my 07' RR in for my 2011.. Chk this amazing vid 12' RRS SC same 510hp 461 tq stock as my 11' RRS SC they weigh gulp... 5800lbs vs this monster G63 Tuned to 700hp & even more tq weighs 100 lbs LESS @ 5700lbs w/better gear ratios 4.11's vs my 3.54's even every consecutive gear is stouter on the MB 7 spd vs RR 6 spd..
The RRS SC even starts to close the gap of 4-5 cars @ the end of vid, notice the RR's rearview mirror size in relation to G63 ahead, the G63 is getting a wee bit larger IE getting reeled in closer. The G63's extremely bad aerodynamics are starting to rear its ugly head..

OK what gives here? I previously thot the G63 was heavier than the 2010-12 RRS SC, not the case depending on options they weigh about the same @ 5700-5800 lbs..
So here's another matchup w/the same 13' G63 & 12' RRS SC but this time round they're BOTH BONE STOCK & on paper the G63 should smash it? Same weight, G63 has depending on options 34-67 more HP & 100-130 more TQ & way better final gear + each consecutive gear is better again G63 has nasty 4.11's they are way more aggressive & should be faster coupled to MB's 7 spd trans, vs the RRS's final drive gear 3.54's using 6 spd tranns & when you compare each gear the RR's are less agressive.. They're both full time AWD.. So there's zero room for driver error.. they run almost neck to neck till obvious triple digits when the MB breadbox aerodynamics on the G must be rearing their ugly head as it gets walked badly @ end..
Could be like the superior AWD the Audi Rs7 uses & is unequaled @ delivering a much smaller powerplant to the wheels/ground vs opponents w/much more hp/tq
also I'm almost certain the RRS SC shares the same fast shifting ZF 6 speed used in the 10'-12' perf model Jaguars (They switched this to a new 8 speed ZF in 13'-current Jag perf models & RRS etc models)

Thanks bud I buy nice clean, low mile used luxury autos.. Not really expensive, now if I was 1st owner on everything yeah they'd be a bit expensive.. There are far bigger fish round here w/autos that make mine look average lol..
