Vinyl wrap for interior trim
My car came with the dark woodgrain trim on the center console and doors, it's in really nice conditon but I think it would look alot better a different color. Are there any prefab wrap kits available for these? I seen an ad on her for one guy that does it, I've already emailed him.. just hoping there are more options out there.

you can wrap it with anything you want, My opinion is, this isnt a hyundai, you should have equal quality materials as the car. carbon fiber, other wood, etc. You could also paint it a color or body color. I think all would be better than wraps

Something to consider while contemplating an interior trim update is if you may want to change out your command for an aftermarket headunit at some point. I am not advocating getting rid of command, but if you do want to it is a little easier if you are using the 2005 and later center console trim. The 2005 and later trim allows you to use a widely available radio bezel that fits a standard double din headunit in the oddly shaped hole (all you need do is buy the correct fascia pieces for the cup holders and you are done). 2003 and 2004 center console trim can be cut to work with the bezel too.
As far as changing the finish goes, if you like carbon fiber then get a properly done set; I would NOT recommend a wrap. DCT motorsports sells high quality properly done sets (with matching shift knob, etc if you like) as do other vendors. Vendors like DCT who do a lot of this will often have cores so you need not live without trim for any length of time.
In my own SL55, I opted to paint the interior trim piano black (pulled it out and dropped it off at an autobody shop) ... I could not be happier with the results.
hope that helps,
Chris

I'm considering having mine hydro dipped in carbon fiber, but haven't been able to see any that have been done in real life to look at what they look like done

The 3M wrap looked great (in comparison) to my 20 years old cracked wood in my old R129
In 230, the interior is too clean and new to consider wrap.
I would either leave the wood grain, or invest the proper $1000-1500 in exchanging the trim with CF one.
Wrap = poser
As OKBrnett said, this is not Hyundai

I have an aftermarket stereo unit in mine and the trim for that started getting sticky and crappy looking. So I got some carbon fiber wrap and covered those trim peices around the radio.. It looks great.
If I was you, I'd do it. People wrap ferrari's so why not cover a few trim peices, I mean fake carbon fiber is just as good as fake factory wood grain right?

I wrapped the dark wood in my C63. Turned out great and was able to do it with a 1'x4' sheet of 3m 1080 vinyl off amazon for $20. Dash and 4 doors.

Looks good. Luckily your interior doesn't have wood around the center console buttons, or else that would have been time consuming to do! Haha.

Yeah, luckily the center stack is piano black. Otherwise I may or may not have tackled this.
One thing to keep in mind with the CF vinyl is that most of it is textured. Some like this, some don't. I like it and think it transformed the interior. Sure I could have painted it, but this is also easily reversible.

Trim VS wrap?
I recently got a C43 AMG but it came with the piano black console -- I was thinking of replacing it with original OEM black ash wood trim from MB, but it's looking like it's gonna cost a fortune... $2000~ with install, and they can't even guarantee that it'll work 100%. So, I'm debating on getting it wrapped instead... but worried about it looking cheesy... are you 100% satisfied with how this turned out and do you feel like it looks legit?

it turned out really good tho! You must've dismantled the interior to do all of that right?
