I doubt you are going to find a dealer that will discount a new SL55 with Spring coming on...unless you get lucky and they need to make their quota for the month....now that we are in to April it is not likely...try a dealer up north where the weather is still cold.
there are alot of used 03s available...best way to go if you want a deal.

I have a Brilliant Silver/Charcoal car that is due to land on the 25th of this month, that might open up. I am about 70% sure that it will be available, but should be able to confirm in about a week. The car has Panorama roof, Bi-Xenons, Keyless Go, Burl Walnut trim and Standard 5-spoke AMG rims. The MSRP is $126,100 and I would be able to sell it at sticker with no mark-up! PM me if you are interested and I can get to work on finding out a solid availability answer!!

If we are talking about a brand new SL55, then what difference will it make if you nibble 2-3k off the sticker? That's like squabbling to save 10k off a $1M house. This should not be an issue for someone serious about the 55.

just because you can afford an sl55 or a 10M dollar house, etc doesn't mean you can be completely careless with your money...how do you think someone would get that rich in the first place (and I'm sure they would want to stay rich too)??!!

Of course the same logic applies in reverse. What difference should it make to a dealer to knock off a few thousand.

Ok, lets get something str8, 2-3K dollars (on a $100K car) does not qualify as being careless. Heck, you could argue that its completely irresponsible to spend 100K on a car!. Oh, and if the person really wanted to stay rich, then why in the hell would they be looking at the SL55 in the first place?????????

No, you're wrong. The dealer does not make 100% profit off the car he sells. He only makes a small percentage, therfore every dollar counts. If the dealer only makes $7k (lets pretend) per sale, then 2-3K is a huge amount to be "generous" with.

In my opinion MarcuzBenz offer is a good price for a brand new, no wait SL55, if you like the color and options.
