What tire came on your 55?
I have Pirelli. Don't like them. Hard to believe they can make as much noise as they do. My dealer has offered to change them out to Michelin. Not sure if I want to risk damage to a wheel just to swap tires. You would think Mercedes would install Michelins on the 55 since they put them on the SL500.

Pirelli P Zero Rosso in NJ. I find that any Max performance tire this width will produce noise. In my book it's noise level is comensurate with its capabilities which are pretty good.

Pirelli P Zero, Bridgestone Potenza RE05's on my C4S
