SL55/63/65/R230 AMG: Tire Pressure Monitor System (TPMS)
Why? If you change the wheels will it go off like there is a problem all the time? Is there any way to turn it off or is it on at all times?
i was going to put the 19" amg sl65 wheels on it. would that be considered a factory wheels?
If you are using the regular AMG wheels there is no problem with the tire pressure indication system - I have it installed on mine and happy with it - especially when driving on the German Autobahn (sometimes) it gives me some "security feeling" ...
kind regards from France

Oringinally the system was worthless, but after there was a software upgrade they work fine.

I'd actually argue that the TPMS is MORE important on after market tires and wheels. Larger diameter lower profile tires are much more prone to damage and handling problems if not properly inflated. I find myself regularly checking the pressure on my tires and adjusting as needed.
Not to thread crap but does anyone know where to get the sensors besides from the local stealers?
