He lives in Cali, rarely does the weather dip under freezing, it's not needed but here in Colorado, it's a must, my dealer had one w/o airscarf and took 2 months to sell it while the others with it took max of five days. They finally sold it to someone out of state. If it gets cold where you are at, you are definately missing out. I drive with top down during the winter, ppl think I'm insane, I think I'm warm and cozy.

Try 28F to be exact, I actually felt comfortable except I have to used the ugly mesh windblocker that came with it, otherwise it does get too cold for top down driving.

thanks, I try my best just to keep it clean and classy, didn't have to spend too much as the SLK comes nearly perfect, I'm done with cosmetics, was thinking about bolt-on engine mods but they are expensive and doesn't yield much horses, SC isn't available yet, SLK55 seems to be the cheapest mod. lol.

Do it, I think wheels and a drop is a must on all cars, it just looks soooo much different when you have a lower stance and some nice shoes. DCR has great prices and iForged is currently doing a group buy. Check the classifieds, ppl are constantly changing shoes.

The SLK can easily take a 19" wheel. My opinion, if you find the right wheel in 19", get it. Higher expense for 19" wheels and tires. Average it out and the satisfaction factor, well worth it.

Agree, SLK's look good with 19"s, just do a search on this forum for 19" SLK's and you'll see plenty, they all look good. You could get away with 18"s if you are not going to get rims with lips.
