Hmm, twice the cost for 3 tenths of a second & "better handling" (which was BS due to the SLK actually gaining ground in the corners)? Bad ROI. Besides, there are ways to get around the SL55's power advantage & still come out spending significantly less.
Thanks for the vid - pretty cool!

Help
Would anybody be willing to download the video and send it to me? I am unable to open it on the Google site from Germany. Not sure why it's blocked for Germany but I can't seem to find a round about way of getting to it. If you could do this please PM me and I'll send my e-mail address. Thanks.

30 pack
I also think the handling Package would've helped her.
(And with Dinko's monster it would have been no contest)https://mbworld.org/forums/newreply....e=1&p=1414601#

What a twit!
I tried and couldn't figure out how to do that, without sitting on top of the steering wheel like a 18wheeler driver.
Someone should show her how to adjust the seat position and steering wheel.
So it make sense she was all over the line and missed some of her turns, she doesn't know how to position herself to a steering wheel.

Blofin is absolutely right. I just drove my 55 from Ct to Fla. I was trying to figure out what she was talking about "hitting her elbows". Unless she has arms so long that her knuckles scrape the ground when she walks, the wheel position must have been fully extended. Even then, it's hard for me to figure out what she was talking about.

She has never been a fan of the SLK, and will find anything wrong with it whenever possible, even going way out of line in order to cite bull****, like there being only enough space in the trunk for a toothbrush.
Stupid b1tch, the SLK lineup of cars have one of the largest trunk spaces when compared to other convertibles of the class:
Honda S2000 - 152 litres
Old Mercedes SLK - 145/348 litres (roof down/roof up)
New Mercedes SLK - 208/300 litres (roof down/roof up)
Audi TT Roadster - 221/181 litres (FWD/AWD)
BMW Z3 - 165 litres
BMW Z4 - 240/260 litres (roof down/roof up)
Porsche Boxster - 260 litres in total (two trunks, one in front, and one in back)
Chrysler Crossfire Roadster - 102/184 litres (roof down/roof up)
Mercedes SL - 207/289 (roof down/roof up)

Certainly, her driving position was pathetic as people have pointed out - especially that comment of seat bolsters hitting her elbows (I guess she has never seen a racing bucket seat ).
Shinigami, good post on the rear boot real estate - interesting.

I want to see stuff with 030
I have yet to find anything that shows numbers for AMGs with 030. In particular I would be interested in nurinburg(however its spelled) times.
