Sounds like you are familiar with it! I'll let you explain.
Jeez man, calm down. So you have a bigger E-p3n no need to show it off.![rolf](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/rofl.gif)
Number6- What's the MB batmobile?

I m not sure. The AMG people were talking about it and said the nickname was "batmobile". I believe they had it at the Maybach event also, it may be a sports Maybach?
I have no idea really

hahaha! I think you got him there, even though the engine looks like it's in a garage.. Looks like he might have jumped ship though, never heard back with the ownage pictures promised.
As for teabags.. you wouldnt happen to use boiling water with them, would you?

For all the Doubters, I really don't care. I initiated this post looking for technical insight. That's what I would appreciate. Particularly information regarding engine management systems and Merc motor swaps. Frankly, I don't feel the need to prove anything to anyone. The twin turbo V12 sits now in my garage along with two V12 seats. I did forward detailed pics taking measurements of the motor to another forum member. For me the SLK is a nice sleeper but sticking a V12 in her ain't rocket science.
While not attempting to boast, I post the following for the doubters, my current cars include:
1. Ferrari 512 TR (chipped, hyperflow cats, custom exhaust, bigger tires, etc
2. Porsche 993 Cabriolet with Twin Turbo motor built by Prototech, Turbo race brakes, blistein PS9, Turbo sway bars.
3. BMW Z1 with LS7 install in progress (T56 transmission, 15" brembos w/ 8 piston calipers up front/355mm rear discs, custom suspension, M3 trailing arms, M roadster differential, M3 front struts, adjustable Konis front externally adjustable Varishock rear: 2600 pounds 525 hp.
4. Ferrari 308 w/ Ferrari 355 rear suspension, motor transmission and chassis, Tubi, 380mm front discs/ 8 piston brembos, 355 rear discs, 19" wheels with 345/30/19 tires in back, etc. Two Garrett GT28s purchased to twin turbo motor. As it sits now 2600 pounds and 400 hp.
5. Porsche Turbo widebody cabriolet custom show car (all steel factory parts), carbon fiber inerior, silver gauges, 19" wheels w/325/19" tires in rear.
6. Ferrari GTO bodied 308 (engine to upgraded(
7. 1963 Jaguar XKE Roadster with 1995 XJR motor and five speed (under construction).
8. Euro 308 Ferrari GTS QV
9. Aluminum bodied Ferrari Daytona Spider (needs completion)

I'm a believer not because you had some nice toys... just because a v12 SLK is doable.

Im not a doubter by any stretch of the imagination. You seem to be going from level 2 to level 7 in my books. This engine will require enormous amounts of fabrication because of the pure power involved.
Sure it can be installed but the true test is SAFE, RELIABLE and CONTROLLED driving.

For those having issues with the ECU on newer cars when transplanting engines, you can email me at motorwerksaustin@mac.com and I can clarify a few issues for you.

Sure we have shown absolutely no proof whats so ever....and sure we could easily prove the doubters wrong by taking a simple pic....but how dare they think anyone would lie on a public internet forum where absolutely no accountability is required allowing anyone to make the most ridiculous statements they choose.

SLKV12TT, although I personally don't outright dismiss your claims like Derelique, you really can't blame us for being so sceptical. After all, like Derelique said, there have been so many instanced of people pretending to have and do things on this and other forums. On top of that, you really have no reputation on this forum and nobody really knows you, so scepticism is to be expected. If you really are serious about this, its natural for us to want to see the proof because every single member here would be extremely interested to see how the project turns out. Why don't you provide the definitive proof we are asking and settle this once and for all? At this stage, this is really not going anywhere...

It most definitely isn't going anywhere when people like Derelique choose to act so very childish.
But what you said is true, concrete proof would steer the discussion back into the realm of "interesting".

Shinigami,
Why, because i dont buy his story due to zero proof?
Or maybe its because i make light of it by adding some humor to this forum (never was i mean or insulting)?
youve talked about me before and ive let it go....not this time....quit being a gullible stuck up snob who has to make sure everyone on an internet forum behaves the way u see fit....people are different sweat hart, some of us makes jokes and dont trust everything said on a internet forum.
Bottom line Shinigami, if you rant like a baby about my posts again i will absolutely refuse to give u a ride in my slkW16 quad turbo.

I think your humour is dry, especially when you keep pushing the same "funny" that only you seem to revel in.
The proof might not be there and whilst you think your posts are just a "joke", I'd say your posts are almost insulting in the way you constantly push the same tired joke of yours down our throats.
I think we all got the message that you don't believe in this project.
However, it's possible to discuss these things without acting like the kids you see on a kindergarten playground.
Just my two cents.
