carbon fiber hood
I just purchased and '05 which has slight dents, scratches and chips that have require the hood to be professionally fixed and painted or I replace the hood with a lighter carbon fiber hood. I would prefer to do the later but can not find a manufacturer. Any ideas?

Hey guys, sorry for the delay....
On of our dealers still has one sitting from about 4 months ago. Price on the hood is $1,500
If you guys wanted to get a small group buy together and pre order them, I can probably do it for $995. They will take around 6 weeks to make.
Only comes in black carbon fiber.

hmmmm if i got a carbon fiber hood i would feel that my car would be naked with out a carbon fiber rear diffuser... hmmmm thats a great price though

What's the original weight? I assume is an exact replica and everything will fit to the new piece; right?
Going back to the color....will CF accept paint?
If I remember correctly, you are near Miami right? How about instalation if I go down there? Included?

How do we do this?
I can also bring the car down to you and skip the shipment cost. It can also serve as prototype to mold the CF difuser if you want (assuming there is no risk to the cars paint, etc)
