SLK 55 can you identify these rims?
Im just about to purchase a 2005 SLK 55 which has everything I want.
The wheels are ones I have not seen before and the seller says they are 18" AMG factory fitted.
Can any one identify them? Are they an upgrade, a downgrade or just a no cost option.

I think they come on USA '09 SLK55s.

Well I bought it..they are 18" powder coated AMG Alloys.
These are the sellers pictures. I have since had all the tint taken off as I did not wish to look too much like a drug dealer
What do you think?

The car belonged to a football player who only used it to drive to the training ground
The wheels are Wanli S 1088 255/35Z 94W on the back...Is a W rating too low? Also I have read mixed reports on the handling of the tires. I think they are great but apparently they are a nightmare in the wet. Can anyone verify this? I dont want to put myself at risk...

he did, I was just simplifying my post.
Nearly died today. Its the first rainy day I have since since I have driven the car and the tyres are absolutely useless!
Im going to have to change them immediately. Does anyone know If I can get away with changing just the front tyres?

Huuuge problem.
I changed my rear tyres earlier thjis week and the tyre fitter pointed out I did not have locking wheel nuts on my wheels.
So I took the car to MB yesterday and they said they could not touch them as they were aftermarket alloys even though they are AMG.
Also they did not know the right size bolts to fit without taking them out.
Long story short, they said I need to take it to a specialist to get the right ones fitted.
Anyone have a clue where in London I can get this done?

Im very bored with my wheels and would like to liven them up a bit. Perhaps Im thinking of an Orange lip and centre caps black? (Excuse awful paint job mock up attached)
Has anyone had any experience with Rim Lips being painted..?
Can anyone reccomend a London based specialist?
Do you think it will look good or have I lost the plot?
