Gullwing desirable options and colors
Coming from the Porsche and BMW world, the new Gullwing has intrigued me now that it is no longer produced. I did not realize how rare this car is. I have several 911's as well as a BMW Z8 and think a Gullwing would go great with it. Been watching the market and the coupes have been disappearing the past few months.
Seems like any shade of silver / gray seem desirable as long as it doesnt have a black interior. Red exterior seems the least desirable. Regarding mileage, how many miles is too much?
I bought my Z8 2.5 years ago with 7k miles. Silver with red interior, beautiful color combo. Only problem is I dont want to drive as these Z8's are fetching much higher prices with miles under 10k.
Anyways, looks like I missed a great one last week as someone here snagged it. The hunt continues...

Your Z8 is beautiful. The SLS is definitely a great car and I'm sure you won't find many, if any, complaints about it. In regards to mileage, it depends. I personally feel uncomfortable buying a car with an average of less than 2,000 miles/year, I don't want a car that's just been sitting. I bought my 2012 with about 15k miles because it was truly a unicorn...had every option. I would probably stay away from cars with more than 30k miles but most available have 15k or less.

You can't go wrong with silver or grey especially with red or brown interior. Very classic color combos. Low mileage well optioned cars are selling fast. Be patient and the right car will pop up. Then go buy it ASAP as it may be months before another pops up for sale.
I looked for over a year for a SLS coupe with every option and low mileage. I only found two and both had fatal flaws which prevented me from buying.
I truely believe the SLS will follow a similar depreciation/appreciation curve as the Z8 and Ford GT. Both were legacy cars to the original. You can see that the SLS has already started to appreciate after hitting its depreciated bottom.
Nice Z8!

Looks like the Silver/Red SLS coupe with 9 options and 1k just sold for @ $175. It was listed on Autotrader in Maryland for a very short period of time.
